Social action led by Dr. Veit turns 22 and helps more than 2000 children

Transforming lives for more than two decades: this is the goal of the Natal Azul campaign, created by dentist Dr. Veit, which annually helps more than 2,000 needy children from public schools in Rio and their families. In 2022, the theme of social action is “Love builds, attitude transforms”. Through this phrase, children from 3 to 10 years old create representative compositions and drawings. Each participating school and association will have a winner for best writing and best drawing, with a trophy and a special gift, in addition to an overall winner.
More than 2,000 children served have already delivered more than 22,000 toys, 6,000 basic food baskets, 160,000 toothbrushes in annual kits in 19 parties with theaters, concerts with artists and food, in addition to an average of 100 volunteers for each edition, among patients. and friends of Dr. Veit.
The action aims at much more than supplying and meeting the needs of children. Natal Azul goes further and works within educational and entertaining themes that encourage little ones to improve their values as human beings, through the commandments of Veitinho, a figure created to inspire and teach them about: honesty, respect, compassion, responsibility , attitude and effort, hygiene and health, patriotism, saving the planet, value of life and differences.
According to Dr. Veit, “today Natal Azul dreams not only to expand the celebration, but also to expand the social work that is already being carried out, offering more support and help throughout the year, in the distribution of VeitSmile biodegradable toothbrush sets for the whole year . the basic food basket and the growing purpose of forming and creating new social values to foster the character of these children, who will thus become more conscientious citizens in the near future”.
Among the ambassadors this year, apart from Dr. Veit and Dr. Cynthia Veit, names like the player Felipe Luís, the eternal queen of the minors, Xuxa Meneghel and the singer Alcione.
