Agents from Aguadilla’s Criminal Investigation Corps (CIC) Sex Crimes Division, with support from other units, seized the car of one of San Sebastian’s mayoral aides yesterday and sought a court order to open it and seize a phone cell phone and were preparing to raid the office where the official works, who is being investigated for allegedly sexually assaulting a subordinate on three occasions.
The 25-year-old victim had told her mother that her 71-year-old boss, who before being an aide to Mayor Javier Jiménez Pérez was a municipal lawmaker, had allegedly raped her. The young woman’s mother has sued the authorities and yesterday the agents of the Sexual Crimes have started the investigation.
