(Opinion) The year 2022 was quite eventful and for Chile it was no exception. The constitutive process was rejected by force, the ultra-left Gabriel Boric came to the government, while the quality of life of Chileans has deteriorated.
However, the various political forces, instead of observing the problems of crime, inflation, housing, migration, among others, preferred to end the year with an agreement that opens a constituent process 2.0. In this note we examine the main moments of the political year 2022 in Chile.
