(Opinion) In the middle of this year, the Ibero-American panorama looked gloomy. The São Paulo Forum had systematically won elections, first in Peru, then in Honduras, later in Chile, then in Colombia and finally in Brazil.
Progress was an unstoppable red tide.
However, on September 4, a light flashed across the landscape: Gabriel Boric’s progressive constitution was overwhelmingly rejected by Chileans who refused to trade their traditional values for a Magna Carta that promoted indigenism, environmentalism, abortion and gender ideology.
