(Opinion) Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva’s victory in Brazil marks the beginning of a new era for the left in Latin America, paving the way for dangerous alliances that could turn the region into a common territory of corruption and crime.

Brazil, Venezuela and Colombia are three neighboring countries that now share not only borders, but also heads of state with the same interests and past.
