Our Angel lands Jamaica Oaks at Caymanas Park Loop Jamaica

Robert Pearson’s OUR Angel scored a convincing victory in Sunday’s 10th Jamaica Oaks at Caymanas Park, recording a five-length win over 2-1 joint favorite SUNSET SILHOUETTE.

Pearson’s showed her strong recent form, running third behind colts and furlongs over 9km 25 yards on July 16, following back-to-back second-place efforts to Saturday’s Jamaica Derby winner , ATOMICA, in the Portmore Stakes and 1000 Guineas.

Chasing GOLDEN WATTLE from the start, OUR ANGEL held the pace as SILENT MISSION made her bid approaching the half-mile marker.

However, our QUIET ANGEL sped three and a half lengths away, leaving GOLDEN WATTLE and SILENT MISSION behind her, clocking 2:11.1 for the trip.

GOLDEN WATTLE was relegated to a close fourth by runners-up SUNSET SILHOUTTE and PELICULA closing off the pace.
