A man jumped overboard on a Florida-bound carnival cruise … and so far no sign of him.
A passenger on the boat tells TMZ … she was on Deck 7 early Saturday morning when 2 teenagers came running next to her in a panic. She told them to slow down so they wouldn’t hurt themselves, and just then they shouted that someone had gone overboard.
There was commotion on the ship from some … others thought it was a prank, until security jumped on alert and a frantic search began.

We’re told the coast guard was called and they flashed bright lights in the dark sea and went hunting. The cruise line stayed to assist in the search, but nothing turned up.
The ship then headed to its destination – Port Canaveral, Florida and the Coast Guard continued the search.
A spokesperson for Carnival tells TMZ that the man jumped from the ship. We know he is an adult who was on the ship with his family.
Guest services thought they were joking at first – but then sent security to the area where the man had fallen overboard.
Security confirmed he had gone overboard and the Coast Guard was called in.
A Carnival spokesperson told TMZ… “Carnival’s Care Team is supporting the guest’s family. Mardi Gras is arriving at Port Canaveral this morning and will sail on its next itinerary. Our thoughts and prayers are with the guest and his family.”
