The stars of the culinary world gathered in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico, at the presentation of the list of the 50 best restaurants of Latin America 2022, sponsored by S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna.
The ceremony celebrated the excellence of establishments from 21 different destinations and ten new restaurants on the list before naming Lima’s Central as the Best Restaurant in Latin America 2022.
Central, by chefs Virgilio Martínez and Pía León, topped the annual list for the first time since 2016.
The distinction was presented a year after Central was named the greatest. . .
