Crowds lined the sunlit streets of Falmouth on Saturday night as the Marching Carnival made its return as part of Falmouth Week celebrations.
Here are a selection of some of the photos from the day, as well as our live footage of the memorable event.
The carnival, led by the Falmouth Marine Band left Falmouth RFC’s recreation ground before heading down the hill of Killigrew Street and over The Moor.
More singing, dancing and playing music followed before the march moved to the Waterfront Marquee in Church Street car park where the fun continued into the night with live music from Falmouth Soul Sensation.
There were many floats involved in the procession with Falmouth RFC Youth Academy, a Boslowick Barber boat, NHS, Stetty Boggs and a Top Gun team to name just a few involved in the fun.
There’s more excitement for Falmouth Week on Sunday with Music on the Moor from Source FM as well as a performance from the Wurzels.
