GREENVILLE, NC – The East Carolina football team takes a break from conference play to face William & Mary at Johnson Stadium on Sunday. The game is set for 1 p.m. Attendance is free for fans and the game will be available to stream on ESPN+.

Last time out

The Pirates kept the streak going for seven straight — and now a second three-game winning streak — with a 2-1 victory over No. 19 SMU. The Pirates’ goals were scored by Isabella Gutiérrez and Annabelle Abbott with assists from Lindsey Aiken (2) and Sydney Fast.

Scouting the tribe
William & Mary enters the contest holding a 3-4-1 record, winning their last contest 2-0 over Longwood. The Tribe is led in scoring by Ivey Crain with three goals and two assists. Only four players have scored goals, but six have added assists, led by Kayleigh Shackford with four.

Last season, the Tribe finished with a 4-9-3 record including a 2-4-3 mark in conference play.

History of the Series
William & Mary leads the all-time series 11-1-1. The Pirates’ only win came on September 19, 2010 in a 2-1 road game at William & Mary. The Tribe have won their last three matches in the match by a total of seven goals to none. The teams first met in the Pirates’ inaugural 1994 season with the Tribe winning the first eight games of the series.
