Pix, the instant payment system of the Central Bank of Brazil, turns two years old on Wednesday (16).
From November 16, 2020 to September 30, 2022, 26 billion transactions were made through Pix in the Brazilian financial system, amounting to $12.9 trillion ($2.42 trillion) in transactions, according to a survey conducted by Febraban (Brazilian Banking Federation). based on Central Bank numbers.
