Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police have laid charges after a single vehicle crash in Cambridge.
On September 12, 2022, at approximately 11:15 p.m., emergency services responded to reports of a crash on Jamieson Parkway near Cooper Street.
The driver of a vehicle was traveling west on Jamieson Parkway when they lost control, crossed the center line of the road and struck a hydro pole on the east side of the road.
Due to damage caused by the collision, the affected hydropole will be replaced on September 13, 2022, and power to the area may be interrupted intermittently.
The driver of the motor vehicle suffered minor injuries.
As a result of the investigation, the driver, a 20-year-old female from Cambridge, was charged with Dangerous Operation, Impaired Operation and Operating While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration.
