Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police arrested a male after responding to a disturbance in Kitchener.
On September 3, 2022, at approximately 4:35 a.m., police responded to reports of a fight involving three individuals in a parking lot in the area of Homer Watson Boulevard and Conestoga College Boulevard.
Through investigation, officers determined that a male and a female had been assaulted by another male. As a result of this incident, the male victim suffered minor injuries. The female victim did not suffer any physical injuries.
As a result of the investigation, a 35-year-old Kitchener man has been charged with two counts of assault and criminal harassment.
It is suspected that the people involved are known to each other.
The accused was released with a court date in October.
