Police Charge Male after Stabbing in Cambridge

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Officers from WRPS Neighborhood Policing South Division have charged a man following a stabbing in Cambridge.

On September 21, 2022, at approximately 4:50 p.m., police responded to a residence in the area of ​​Dundas Street North and Chalmers Street North for an assault call. There they found a man with multiple stab wounds.

The victim was taken to an outside hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

As a result of the investigation, a 29-year-old Cambridge man has been charged with assault with a weapon and aggravated assault.

The victim and the accused know each other.

The accused has been remanded in custody for a bail hearing.
