An investigation is underway after a fatal shooting in Lincoln Heights, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
It happened around 9pm Sunday in the 2700 block of Broadway. One person was shot and pronounced dead at the scene. Another person was shot and taken to hospital.
The LAPD said there was a small carnival down the street that was closed during the investigation.
There is no suspicious information.
The motive for the shooting is unknown. The identity of the victim has not yet been released.
