Former Brazilian federal lawmaker and ally of President Jair Bolsonaro, Roberto Jefferson, was charged with four counts of attempted murder after he shot Federal Police agents who went to arrest him at his home on Sunday.
The accusation of the Federal Police refers to “two agents wounded by the projectile and two others who were inside a vehicle but were not hit”, according to media such as the G1 portal citing police sources.
Jefferson used a rifle and threw grenades at agents who went to his home in Comandante Levy Gasparian (Rio de Janeiro state, southeast) in October. . .
