On the men’s side, the Vols continue their tough streak to open the season, facing their third consecutive top-10 opponent. In their last meeting against the Cardinals no. 10 of Louisville, Tennessee dominated the free sprints, with Jordan Crooks (19.35) and Gui Caribbean (19.40) touching the wall for the first time and second with top-5 nationally ranked times. Caribe posted the fastest time in the 100 free as well with a mark of 42.81, which ranks fifth in the nation and is the best mark among freshmen. The pair earned SEC weekly honors for their performances.
