Bachata fans in Ecuador will be delighted to hear that the one and only Prince Royce is returning to the Andean nation as part of his ongoing ‘Classic Tour’, celebrating ten years as one of the most popular bachata acts in world.
After touring Europe and the US earlier this year, the Bronx-born Dominican singer will make stops in Quito on Nov. 17 and Guayaquil on Nov. 19, where he’ll perform hits from his 2020 studio album Alter Ego , which debuted at No. 1 on the Top Latin Albums Chart, as well as fan-favorite hits over the years including, “Unconditional,” “Little Things,” “Stand by Me,” “Darte Un Beso” and his singles the latest as “I ‘M Waiting for You” which he recently released with Argentinian singer Maria Becerra.
His latest release, “Si Te Preguntan…” featuring Nicky Jam and Jay Wheeler has already racked up over thirty-five million views on YouTube since it debuted earlier this summer.
“I’m excited to be back in Ecuador very soon as part of my Classic Tour, putting on a show for all my fans in return for all the love and support they’ve given me throughout my career,” said Prince Royce.
In an interview with Billboard last year, Prince Royce claimed he realized he had singing talent when he was singing in the shower as a teenager and self-financed his first album while working at a cell phone store in college. From these humble beginnings eleven years ago, Prince Royce’s talent and prolific output as a musician has propelled him to claim the title of the world’s number one bachata singer, garnering multi-platinum record sales, 21 number one radio hits. 24 Latin Billboard Music Awards, 20 Premios lo Nuestro Awards, 19 Premios Juventud Awards, 9 Latin AMA Awards and 14 Latin GRAMMY nominations.
Tickets for the classic shows of Prince Royce’s tour in Ecuador are available here and at the venue before the concerts.
