CAMBRIDGE, Mass. Rowing in Tennessee concludes its fall schedule this weekend with the Head of the Charles Regatta, one of the largest rowing events in the world. The Lady Vols boast two boats competing in the Women’s 8+ Championship at 2:11pm on Sunday.
In a field of 29 boats from the nation’s top programs, UT’s 1V8 and 2V8 boats will compete in the prestigious event. During the first race of the fall, the Lady Vol 1V8 posted the fastest time (16:53.5) of the six boats in the women’s open eight in the city undercover race, while the 2V8 took third in the event.
