Rashid Khan and Mujeeb ur Rahman have returned to the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) after ending their stints with Afghanistan in the Asia Cup.
Leg-spinner Rashid has joined the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots, replacing Sri Lankan Wanindu Hasaranga, who will play in the Asia Cup final on Sunday.
Mujeeb ur Rahman, who previously represented the Tallawahs of Jamaica, has joined the Barbados Royals.
Rashid has previously represented Guyana Amazon Warriors and Barbados Tridents.
He took 11 wickets in 10 matches for the Tridents in 2020 at an economy rate of 6.85.
in 2017, Rashid took a hat-trick in the qualifier against Jamaica Tallawahs at Tarouba, the first hat-trick in CPL history.
Mujeeb has taken 203 wickets in 183 T20 matches at an average of 22.53, with an economy rate of 6.62.
Meanwhile, Maheesh Theekshana is yet to join Trinbago Knight Riders.
The Sri Lankan off-spinner, who will play in the Asia Cup on Sunday, is yet to receive a no-objection certificate from Sri Lanka Cricket.
