The 12th edition of ArtRio, which takes place between September 14 and 18, in Marina da Glória, will have Windsor Hotéis as its official hotel. VIP guests of the fair, among 120 Brazilian and international collectors and curators, will stay at Hotel Miramar by Windsor.
Part of the city’s official calendar, ArtRio stays true to its goal of appreciating Brazilian art and the production of the country’s artists. This work is an important legacy of the event, focusing on both international projection and access to a larger number of audiences in the country. This year, the event has more than 60 participating galleries, in addition to two special programs — SOLO, curated by Ademar Britto and MIRA, curated by Victor Gorgulho and Henrique Rondinelli.
“This is a very special edition of ArtRio — let’s celebrate everyone’s lives and futures. We will have an important agenda of lectures and debates with themes related to art and the presence of important galleries from the country. The year also marks the return of international collectors, who can now travel thanks to the vaccine and advances in science”, says Brenda Valansi, president of ArtRio.
