Romulo Gallegos and Fenix Futsal teams will play this Sunday in the grand final of the second Triniven Futsal League championship.
The match will be played at Constantine Park, Macoya and kicks off at 2pm.
La Casita of the Arima Cup will be in contention.
Romulo Gallegos punched their ticket after beating Union Sport 4-1 in the first semi-final played last Sunday.
Fenix Futsal reached the final by defeating Real Sports 8-2 in the second semi-final.
Fenix Futsal has on its payroll a large part of the squad of players who won the championship in the last tournament representing Mafas-Ven, which disappeared after winning the title.
Eulices Zacarias, the main organizer of this tournament, appreciated the efforts of the players to keep the league at high levels despite the difficulties due to the lack of courts and bad weather.
“It was a good tournament. The teams are well organized and it will be a nice final,” he said.
Musical and cultural events are expected before the final match.
At 1 p.m., the match for the third place between Real Sport and Union Sport will be played.
