The traditional New Year’s party will return to be held on Avenida Paulista this New Year’s Eve, according to a statement from São Paulo Mayor Ricardo Nunes to Folha de São Paulo.
The celebration had not been held for two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The program is still being confirmed by the Municipal Secretariat of Culture and should be published soon.
The recent increase in the number of coronavirus cases should not hinder the celebrations for now.
