Police released shocking video Tuesday morning of a shootout in Queens at an apartment block a day earlier that left a 17-year-old boy injured.
Law enforcement sources said the brazen shooting happened at 5:01 p.m. Aug. 8 in front of a home on 118th Avenue near 152nd Street in South Jamaica.
As shown in the footage, four male suspects — all wearing masks and hoodies — walked down the sidewalk and saw the 17-year-old victim off camera, who was their apparent target.
Two of the perpetrators pulled out their pistols and started shooting at the teenager, who pulled out his gun and returned fire, causing the group of men to turn on foot. The two sides exchanged gunfire as an unseen driver in a black sedan drove through the area.
Meanwhile, the target of the group managed to leave the scene, but suffered a gunshot wound to the right thigh. EMS brought him to Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.
The event was reported in Area 113and detectives are still searching for the group of male suspects — each described by police as dark-skinned teenagers with thin builds.
