Service Advisory: buses replace C Line (Green) service between Long Beach Bl and Norwalk this weekend

Work to upgrade the C (Green) Line’s signaling system will take place again this weekend, requiring a full track closure and bus movement between Long Beach Boulevard and Norwalk Station. While crews carry out the work, the following service changes will be in effect:

Starting Friday, September 16 after 9:00 p.m. Until Sunday, September 18, service closes, the last stop for all eastbound trains will be Long Beach Blvd Station. Customers who need to get to Lakewood or Norwalk must ride the free Metro Green Line shuttles to do so. Train service will continue westbound from Long Beach Blvd to Redondo Beach Station.

C Line riders planning to park and ride to this Sunday’s Rams-Falcons game should park at stations west of Norwalk and Lakewood to avoid busing. See our previous post for tips on how to get to SoFi Stadium by subway!

Regular service at all stations will resume on Monday, September 19. For more transit news and real-time service updates, follow us on Twitter at @metrolosangeles or @metrolaalerts.
