Shaq Responds to Kanye Calling Him Out: ‘You Don’t Know Me Like That’

Shaquille O’Neal has hit back at the artist formerly known as Kanye West after he publicly took issue with his apparent relationship with businessman Jamie Salter.

In his latest string of tweets following his return to the now Elon Musk-owned Twitter, Ye directed his anger at the many businessmen he has issues with and defended Kyrie Irving’s anti-Semitism. it shared a screenshot of an article that indicated Shaq had criticized Irving for his offensive comments and accused the basketball legend of “bullying” the Brooklyn Nets guard.

He then directed a comment at Shaq himself. “Shaq is in business with Jamie Salter,” he wrote. “Jaimie [sic] first said he is 50/50 with David Beckham and 50/50 with Shaq. I said ‘Jamie. . . There is no such thing as 50/50 in business. . . Who has an additional 1 percent for control and voting rights.” It’s worth noting that Salter is Jewish, and Ye has faced a lot of criticism for his anti-Semitic comments.

In his response to Ye, Shaq offered him some advice while firing back at him. “Believe me, you don’t know me like this,” Shaq wrote. “Mind your own business and to quote the once great Kanye West: ‘I got more money than you so why should I listen to you?’, take my advice to fix your family business. Have a great day bro .”

Ju has yet to respond to Shaq’s comments, but he also took aim at a number of other people for not putting up with Irving’s recent behavior. He shared another article headline, where Amar’e Stoudemire criticized Irving. “They make us attack each other,” Ye wrote. “Even our brothers who know who we really are.”

On Friday, Ye also addressed a lyric from Drake on his collaborative album with 21 Savage, Her loss. The line suggested that Drizzy only agreed to date Ye, who she was dating at the time, because of his ties to Rap-A-Lot founder J. Prince.

“It’s enough that I gave this man his flowers a few times,” Ye wrote. “Let’s really see what the real options are in this music game. Imagine all the rappers on the same side and they all clear each other’s contracts. It is kingdom time. Love Drake.”
