Demonstrations by the Smoke Squadron and the public presentation of the submarine Riachuelo were of particular importance for the celebrations of the 200th anniversary of Brazil’s independence, which included several naval parades (mainly in Salvador, Natal, Belem, Santos and Rio de Janeiro). and developed in one way or another in practically all Brazilian cities.
