The popular St Ann’s Carnival and Italian Festival returns to Bristol Borough this week.
The carnival kicks off Monday evening behind St. Ann’s Catholic Place of Worship at 357 Dorrance Street in Bristol Borough. The event will run Monday through Saturday from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM each night.
Bristol City Council president Ralph DiGuiseppe, who is involved in the event, said last week that the carnival is great fun and a great community event.
The Long Carnival has something for everyone. Rides, children’s entertainment, games and homemade Italian food all have a place in this event that has become a local tradition.
The festival usually draws large crowds as summer draws to a close.
On Tuesday evening, the Bristol Borough Police Department will host a Carnival Night for children whose parents purchased tickets in advance before opening to the general public. The event is thanks to the generosity of the DeCaro family, who own Bristol Environmental.
