A 74-year Midland tradition, the St. Anne’s Fair and Carnival remains a community staple full of fun for all. Benefiting St. Ann’s Catholic School and Church, the event includes four days worth of rides, game booths, delicious food and more.
The Reporter-Telegram spoke with Chairman Casey Hajovsky to get the scoop on what guests should know before attending.
Party Days and Times
The carnival portion, brought to Midland by family owned and operated business Pride of Texas Shows, runs Thursday through Sunday. The St. Anne’s Fundraising Fair will take place on Saturday only.
Thursday: 6pm to 10pm
Friday: 6pm to midnight
Saturday: 10am to midnight
Sunday: 1pm to 6pm
Admission and Tickets
Carnival tickets and fair tickets remain separate and cannot be used interchangeably.
Carnival: For Thursday and Friday, customers can purchase a $25 strip, providing access to all rides. Armband remains valid from 6pm to 10pm and will stop selling at 9pm
On Saturday, the same day as the fair, strip prices remain $25, but will be split between daytime and evening validity. The morning band works from 10:00 to 18:00 and will not be sold after 17:00, while the night band works from 18:00 to 23:00 and will not be sold after 22:00: 00.
For Sunday, the $25 bar runs all day from 1pm and will stop selling at 5pm.
If guests do not wish to purchase a wristband, single tickets will be available for $1 each. However, keep in mind that each trip requires three to four tickets.
Fair: Entrance to the grounds will be free and open to all. To enjoy fairground rides and fairground food, patrons must purchase $1 tickets.

Fair carnivals and attractions

On Friday night, Cody Canada & The Departed, a popular American rock band, will take the stage from 8 to 10 p.m. Admission will be free and fans should bring their own lawn chair or blanket.
Drinks and Foods
Attendees can expect the classics during their time at the carnival: cotton candy, popcorn, curly fries, corn dogs, funnel cakes, slushies and more.
As for the fair, St. Ann’s will be serving the following: aqua fresca, street tacos, quesadillas, funnel cakes, ice cream, hamburgers, hot dogs, turkey legs, BBQ sandwiches, street corn, snow cones, cotton candy, popcorn and nachos. For drinks, they will offer margaritas, beer and wine. Yum!
For Friday night’s concert, food trucks will begin serving food at 5 p.m. Until then, munchers can expect loaded plates from Browns Bar-BQ, authentic Jamaican cuisine from Jammin Nyaminz, delicious flavors from Cane d’Oro Pizza and maybe a snowball. establishment.
Run (or Walk) to the Fair
One of the most anticipated events of the weekend extravaganza falls on Saturday’s Run to the Fair, hosted by the Midland Athletic Co. Designed for walkers, runners and families, participants can choose between a 1K (0.6 miles), 5K (3.1 miles) or 10K (6.2 miles) distance to start their morning.
