St Kitts and Nevis: Azul Printers has demonstrated its support for Sugar Mas 51 by contributing EC$50,000.00 in kind sponsorship to the National Carnival Committee. At an official handover ceremony on Friday, October 28, Azul Printers representatives presented a token check to Shannon Hawley, chairperson of the St Kitts Nevis National Carnival Committee (SKNNCC).

This contribution makes Azul Printers the first Platinum sponsor for this year’s carnival in St Kitts Nevis. The company, which was represented by Gerhon Joseph and Oral Roberts, is a division of G-Squared Arts. Azul Printers specializes in the marketing and printing of signs, boards, license plates and banners.

They also produce branded clothing and stationery. Responding to the Sponsorship by Azul Printers, SKNNCC Chairperson Shannon Hawley expressed her unreserved satisfaction with the gesture and the magnitude of the contribution. She stated that as a small business, Azul Printers has demonstrated its corporate responsibility by coming on board as the first Platinum Sponsor for Sugar Mas 51.

Hawley ended up encouraging other members of the business community to emulate Azul Printers. Contributions and sponsorships will stimulate the culture and creativity of our people after the negative impacts of Covid 19 over the last two years.

Sugar Mas 51 got a boost on Friday, October 28, 2022, when Carib Brewery (St. Kitts & Nevis) Limited pledged its full support for the successful staging of the Carnival in St Kitts Nevis.

Carib, contributed to the Gold Sponsorship category and a check of EC$35,000 was presented to SKNNCC Chairperson Shannon Hawley. The company was represented by Andre Amritt and Ajayi Dublin.

Carib has been an integral part of Carnival for many years and their annual injection spans several decades and has expanded into all the private events held during the annual celebrations. Carib continues to be a leader in Corporate Social Responsibility in the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis. The company’s support for youth and diverse communities in sports, education and cultural activities is unmatched and unwavering.

Hawley expressed her sincere appreciation for Carib’s generous corporate stewardship in a year when Carnival returns to its full format. Sugar Mas 51 will hit the stage between December 2, 2022.

Preparations for Sugar Mas 51 are in full swing and revelers can expect a month of traditional folkloric elements mixed with mas, grand festivities and music. This year’s carnival celebrations will take place between Friday, December 2, 2022 and Tuesday, January 3, 2023, under the theme CELEBRATE LIKE ONE FOR SUGAR MASS 51.
