Detectives are searching for the suspect who fatally stabbed a man on a Harlem street Saturday morning.
Police said the victim was attacked shortly before 12:13 a.m. on July 23 outside an apartment building at 39 West 130th St.
Based on a preliminary description, police determined that the victim was in a dispute with an unknown male prior to the attack.
During the argument, the police said, the unidentified perpetrator took out a sharp object and stabbed the man in the chest. He then fled to parts unknown.
Officers from 32nd Precinctresponding to a 911 call about a stabbing, found the 27-year-old male victim with a stab wound to the torso.
EMS rushed the victim to Harlem Hospital, where he died a short time later. The police have kept his identity secret, pending notification of the family.
So far, no arrests have been made in the ongoing investigation, police said.
