Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting that happened in the Coverdale area of Bridgeville Monday night.
On the morning of October 25, 2022, troopers responded to the 21000 block of Mill Park Drive in reference to a late reported shooting. The ensuing investigation revealed that on the evening of October 24, 2022, sometime between 11:00 PM and 11:30 PM, an unknown suspect had fired multiple shots in the immediate area. This resulted in an unoccupied residence and vehicle being struck and damaged by gunfire. At the time of the shooting, the house was occupied by a 25-year-old woman and a 5-year-old minor. There were no injuries from this incident.
There is currently no suspect information. The Delaware State Police Major Crimes Unit 4 continues to investigate this case. Troopers are asking anyone who witnessed this incident to contact Detective L. Coleman at 302-752-3813.
