Stephen’s Memorial Animal Shelter in Oskaloosa will be hosting their Feline Beautiful Dog Days Carnival later this month. We spoke with the shelter’s director, Shanna Woodcock Smith, who gave us a quick rundown of what to expect.
All proceeds from this carnival will go toward medical expenses for adoptable animals at the shelter, and the carnival will also have some of its own adoptable dogs available. The carnival is scheduled for Saturday, August 27, from 11:00am-3:00pm at the Southern Iowa Fairgrounds.
