A CLASSIC fun fair is set for its return ahead of a carnival.
Stevens’ Funfair will be at Riverside Park, in Burnham, for its 70th year.
A fireworks display will be held on Saturday, September 17, from 9:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
There will be classic rides and entertainment for revelers to enjoy.
Funfair chairman Charmaine Stevens said: “We are all set for the launch of our 2022 Funfair in Burnham, which my family has been doing since 1952.
“We go to great lengths every year to offer Burnham Carnival some of the best thrill rides and traditional family rides in the country.
“We hope everyone will come along to enjoy the atmosphere of this great event, which also helps local charities.

“We will also have a fireworks display at Millfields on Saturday evening at 9.30pm which will be themed as a mark of respect and a tribute to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth.”
Stevens’ Funfair is from Friday, September 16th to Saturday, September 24th.
The funfair will close on Monday 19th September due to the Queen’s funeral.
It is open from 17:00 on weekdays and from 14:00 on Saturdays and Sundays.
