Susanna Reid has given advice to Twitter fans after joining the massive queues to see the Queen lying in state at Westminster Hall.
The Good Morning Britain presenter made the visit with her mother and her friend.

The ITV star took to Twitter to share her experience with her followers.
She revealed that her party of three had stood in line for more than seven hours and that it was worth every minute.
Last week, Susanna took to Instagram with a heartwarming tribute to Queen Elizabeth II shortly after her death.
“No one is more likely to be loved, admired and respected than Her Majesty The Queen and while she may not be immortal, I think we always hoped she would be,” she wrote with a heart emoji. .
After visiting to see the Queen’s coffin on Thursday, she tweeted: “Evening – along with my beautiful mother and her very good friend, just experienced a moment in history – witnessing the Queen lying in state at Westminster Hall.
“At the same time majestic and peaceful.”
“Once you walk into Westminster Hall, it’s worth every minute of the queue. Absolutely magnificent. Quiet. With respect. Historical.”
The three stood in line for a total of seven hours and 20 minutes.

For fans planning to do the same, Susanna shared a host of helpful and practical tips.

She told them to ‘get on the roll’ and ‘go with someone if you can’.
Following her post, she wrote: “If you’re planning to stand in line here are our tips.
“We joined at 1.23pm near Butlers Wharf and entered Westminster Hall at 8.43pm – 7hrs 20mins.
“Wear the most comfortable shoes you have. Go with someone if you can, although everyone in line was friendly.”
Furthermore Susanna, 51, said: “Don’t carry too much in a bag – water is freely available and there are plenty of cafes along the way.
“Also lots of toilets. I put my phone on low battery mode and it lasted the whole time.”
“Take loo roll,” she added.
Because the sanitizer has been confiscated by insurance, Susanna recommended using wet wipes to clean your hands.
Westminster Hall is open to view the Queen lying in state 24 hours a day.
It closes at 6.30 on Monday (September 19), the day of the state funeral.
Susanna paid further tribute to the queen after her death
Queen Elizabeth II died on September 8.
Speaking on GMB the next morning, Susanna sat next to Ben Shephard.
She told viewers: “We knew this moment was coming, and yet it’s still a shock.
“Only those over 70 have known another monarch, and now we will all know another.
“The longest reign of any monarch, the most constant presence in all our lives.”
Susanna described the Queen as “dignified, dedicated, devoted to our country, the Commonwealth and her family, for a lifetime of service”.

She added about the Queen: “Comforting, reassuring, but also inspiring.”
More than a million people are expected to visit Westminster to pay their respects to Her Majesty.
