Cops are searching for a suspect who tried to push a man in front of a train pulling into a Financial District station.
According to police, at 3:50 p.m. on July 25, a 40-year-old man was standing on the platform of the 2/3 northbound train at Park Place Station when he was approached by an unknown man. The unprovoked suspect pushed the victim, causing him to fall to the floor of the platform.
The victim managed to avoid falling towards the train, which had just arrived at the station. The suspect boarded the train and shouted profanities as the train pulled away. The victim suffered minor leg injuries, but refused medical assistance at the scene.

The suspect is described as a man in his 40s with a dark complexion and a medium build, standing 6 feet, 1 inch tall and weighing 240 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black cloth, a black T-shirt, black pants and red and white sneakers.
