Sydney’s Spring Racing Carnival has been revitalized and expanded in recent years with the addition of The Everest, The Golden Eagle and The Invitation, Racing NSW chairman Russell Balding says.
“Those races alongside the time-honored traditional races like the George Main and Epsom – it’s a great time of year, it’s a great time of racing,” he said.
“This year we have offered $79 million in prizes for that period.
“It’s going to be great.”
