Rosicleia Campos: “No one is a champion alone”
Flamengo’s judo technique celebrates winning the Brazil Trophy and praises teamwork
Rosicléia Campos, coach of Flamengo’s judo team, is enjoying the team’s excellent results at the CBI Troféu Brasil, held in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, between August 15 and 16. The Reds were declared champions in the senior women’s category, after the gold medal from Rafaela Silva (57 kg) and Giovanna Santos (+78 kg).
“After many years without being represented in a national competition of this level, we return this year and return as champions. This shows how consolidated the work of the technical committee and the entire team is,” said the technical coordinator, singling out the work of the entire team.
“No one is a champion alone, it’s a team effort. And today we have a team in Flamengo, a FlaJudô team. This achievement is ours and we are very happy, because it reflects who we are”, concluded Rosicleia.
