Skies were partly cloudy across the islands overnight. Isolated showers and storms were observed, which mainly affected the coastal sectors of northeastern and southeastern Puerto Rico.
As of 4 a.m., Doppler radar has estimated rainfall accumulations of up to three-quarters of an inch. This activity is expected to continue until the morning, mainly affecting sectors of northeastern Puerto Rico. Winds were light and variable with stronger gusts observed with showers.
Low temperatures ranged from the mid-60s in high elevations to the high 70s in coastal areas.
A surface trough and rising moisture will cause another active afternoon of showers and thunderstorms inland and west of Puerto Rico. Urban and stream flooding is possible with this activity. Winds will be out of the east with sea breezes 10 to 15 mph. High temperatures should range from the high 70s in high elevations to the low 90s in coastal areas.
