The multi-million dollar renovation, which included 2,560 square meters of indoor and outdoor event meeting space, including six function rooms and an outdoor terrace, ranging from the compact Hon Ong Meeting Room to the expansive Ballroom , opens a new frontier for Ho Chi Minh City’s thriving MICE Sector.
Setting the new standard for meetings in Ho Chi Minh City, our newly renovated meeting rooms are all clad in beautiful wood with subtle metallic details. All meeting rooms and boardrooms are also designed with a multi-purpose closet equipped with a display area and storage on either side.
Double sliding glass doors hide the TV and display the screen area when not in use.
When guests want to use the TV, the doors slide to either side, revealing an 85-inch interactive TV with video conferencing capabilities. These sliding doors can also be used for writing, replacing the need for additional boards.

The Grand Ballroom also boasts a dazzling 8.5m by 4.5m LED wall, the giant screen in town. With inspiring new architecture, InterContinental Saigon’s Grand Ballroom gives your party a captivating and deeply sensory experience.
Upon entering the Pre-Function Lobby, guests will be struck by a curved fabric ceiling feature depicting the Mekong River. This feature fades and flows along the entire length of the parafunction, giving softness and airiness to the space. The translucent fabric interacts with specially designed lighting effects and offers a range of programmable light shades and visual cues that will help further set the mood.
The carpet design, in coastal shades of navy, beige and yellow – reminiscent of the aquatic environment where the lotus lives – covers the floor. At the same time, the decorative columns represent the interweaving of the lotus stems in the water as they reach the surface for sunlight.
Just outside the “Pre-function” area is a new business center designed to meet the ever-changing needs of visitors. This transformable space features built-in ovens, a fridge and a generously-sized counter that could be used for a cooking master class. This beautiful space can be used as a meeting room with a lounge or as an additional space in the Parafunction area.
