The City of Laredo is bringing back the Sister Cities Holiday Market for a second year as artisans from Mexico and other Latin American countries will gather at The Outlet Shoppes in Laredo from November 18-20.
The Sister Cities Holiday Market features traditional clothing, decorations, food, jewelry and more. More than 50 vendors will participate in the event.
“I invite everyone, locals and visitors alike, to come and participate in this family-oriented, free, open-to-the-public event,” Laredo Mayor Pete Saenz said in a statement. “Share in the cultural offerings in the market, with representatives from Mexico and Latin America.”
The event will run from 11am to 8pm on Friday, November 18 and Saturday, November 19 and will be open from 11am to 7pm on Sunday, November 20. Additional information about the Sister Cities Holiday Market will be posted on visitlaredo.com as it becomes available. The Laredo Convention and Visitors Bureau can also be reached at (956) 795-2200 for more information.
“The holidays are fast approaching and this is the perfect opportunity to shop for some unique items,” Laredo Convention and Visitors Bureau Director Aileen Ramos said in a release. “The event is a small taste of what you’ll see at the Sister Cities Festival in July, and with all the beautiful furniture, jewelery and clothing produced and handcrafted by artisans, you’re sure to find the perfect gift. “
