The Tobago Cays Marine Park, St Vincent & Grenadines, protects one of the most stunning landscapes in the Caribbean
Near the southern tip of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, the Tobago Cays Marine Park protects one of the most stunning landscapes in the Caribbean: a sandy lagoon surrounded by coral reefs and dotted with five small islands. They are a stark contrast to the mainland, where the Soufrière volcano rises over 4,000 meters above the coastline. Up to 8,000 yachts visit the Tobago Cays each year, attracted by the clear turquoise water and abundant marine life – from green turtles to starfish. Fun Fact: The Cays were also used as a location in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.
