A bumper crowd is expected at this weekend’s T20Is between West Indies and India in Lauderhill, Florida.
India lead the five-match series 2-1 with the last two matches to be played at the Central Broward County Stadium in Lauderhill on August 6 and 7.
Cricket West Indies reported that fewer than 400 tickets remain for Saturday’s match with under 1,500 tickets still available for Sunday’s final.
“After the exciting matches in Trinidad and St. Kitts, we are now in the USA for the fourth and final matches in the Goldmedal T20I Cup, powered by Kent Water Purifiers. It is great news that West Indies and India fans have flocked to Lauderhill in what will almost certainly be a full house,” said Dominic Warne, CWI Commercial Director.
“This is the last chance for many fans to watch two exciting teams making final preparations for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup and going all out to win the Goldmedal T20I Cup trophy,” he added.
India won the first match of the series by 68 runs at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy before the West Indies came back to win the second match by five wickets at Warner Park, St Kitts.
India defeated the West Indies in the third match to set up an intriguing final in Lauderhill.
