LAFAYETTE, LA. – The LSU men’s tennis duo of Benjamin Ambrosio and Will Cubitt secured the No. 3 of the doubles on day three of the Cajun Classic at the City Club at River Ranch.
Doubles Championship
Two Tiger pairs competed in the Doubles Championship of their respective flight. In flight no. 2, George Stoupe and Ben Koch defied Tulane’s Alex Bancila and Rafael de Alba, falling 1-6.
In flight no. 3, Ambrosio and Cubitt faced Tyler Junior College’s Dan Perrson and Faiz Nasyam. The Tiger duo won the match 6-2.
Singles Championship
LSU had two players in singles championships. In flight no. 1, Stoupe competed against South Alabama’s Sebastien Collard. Tiger fell 3-6, 4-6.
In flight no. 2, Ambrosio faced Maxime St-Hilaire of South Alabama. The first set went to St-Hilaire 4-6, who would go on to win the match 5-7 in the second set.

The Tigers duo of Stefan Latinovic and Nick Watson will travel to San Diego, California November 2-6 for the IITA Fall Championships.
