Tiger Tanks has signed on as a new sponsor of the High School Football League (SSFL) for the 2022-2023 seasons.
The SSFL has staged its last matches in 2019 with the 2020 and 2021 seasons canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Tiger Tanks, which has already come forward to sponsor the TTCB U19 Cricket Championship and a national U20 football tournament in 2022, has signed an agreement with the SSFL to be the title sponsor.

At a media conference to launch the 2022 SSFL on Wednesday, Tiger Tanks General Manager Dennis Latiff made the announcement.
“We have committed not only for this year but also for next year (2023). We want to thank SSFL for partnering with us and giving us this great opportunity,” said Latiff.
Minister of Education, Dr. Nyan Gadsby-Dolly, who has agreed to be the tournament patron for the 2022 season, is looking forward to the start of the tournament.
“I know this season is going to be a tough season and it’s very important that it is. We’re recovering and recovering from what was a forced curtailment of all our activities due to COVID-19 and the pandemic,” said the Minister of Education. .
Coca-Cola’s senior marketing co-ordinator, Anthony Lovelace, said after a two-year hiatus, the company was thrilled to be part of the 2022 SSFL.
“Our support of the Coca-Cola Boys and Girls Intercol is part of our ongoing commitment to the sport of soccer and our goal to connect and excite fans through sport,” said Lovelace.
Kieron Edwards of the Ascension League said his organization should be part of the SSCL.
“It’s an exciting time for young players to get back on the field to be a part of football, to show their skills, to show their talents,” Edwards said.
A new structure for the league competition has been announced with the 2019 season teams divided into two groups according to their placement during that season.
The top two teams will then play in the semi-finals, with a grand final to decide the winners of the league competition.
The elimination structure of the Intercol competition will continue in 2022.
The SSFL opens on Friday with 2019 league champions Naparima College taking on 2019 Intercol Champions Presentation College at the Ato Boldon Stadium, Couva.
