JACKSONVILLE, Fla. Three members of the Clemson women’s tennis team made the trip to the UNF Invite this weekend, and each of them put in strong efforts and came away with highlights to build on. Eleni Louka emerged with a top-50 win on Saturday as all three of Louka, Hatton and Medvedeva went 2-1 in singles play.
Louka was able to defeat number 43 Kit Gulihur convincingly with the result 6-2, 6-4. She went on to win another match on Sunday, as well as winning her doubles flight alongside Florida State’s Cade Cricchio.
Hatton earned her first two singles victories since returning from an injury suffered in the spring of 2022. She won her first match 6-4, 6-7, 10-8 and then on Sunday won 6-2 , 1-6. 10-6 win to close out her weekend.
Medvedeva won her top-flight draw after dropping her first match to cap off an impressive 2-1 weekend that featured a 6-2, 6-4 victory as well as a 1-6, 6-4, 10- 6 in her third game.
