CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson men’s tennis team will compete in the ITA Regionals in Cary, NC, hosted by Duke University on October 21-25. Ryuhei Azuma, Jorge Plans Gonzalez, Ethan Silva, Maxwell Smith, Matt Pitts, Trey Stinchcomb and Spencer Whitaker will pitch in the tournament for the Tigers.
Whitaker and Azuma will look to continue their doubles success as the pair went 13-8 last season. Freshmen Gonzalez and Smith will compete as a pair, while freshman Silva and M. Pitts will take the field together. Stinchcomb and Plans Gonzalez will start singles action for the Tigers at 9 a.m. and M. Pitts will close out the day at noon.
