Tips For Farming ‘Destiny 2’ Dares Of Eternity Deepsight Weapon Patterns

The hottest event in Destiny 2: Season of Plunder is…Dares of Eternity? Yes, we’re going back to last winter, where the free-to-play event was introduced for Bungie’s 30th anniversary, along with a slew of weapons inspired by Bungie’s past games, including Halo.

Those weapons were in demand at the time, but to engage new players with Destiny 2’s crafting system a little more, Bungie has now done three things:

1) Made all Dares of Eternity weapons doable

2) Giving them new pools of benefits

3) Giving them an origin feature

So your old master puts those guns? Garbage! Time to re-farm and get enhanced perks and pedigree traits. The one weapon in particular that everyone seems to love is the BxR-55 Battler, basically the Battle Rifle from Halo, which is powerful in PvP but can also now be fun in PvE with an incandescent roll.

Farming these weapons for crafting is… kind of hard, though. They all require five models, minus one of them, and there’s no way to target specific farm ones. So how do you maximize your chances here?

The other half – What used to be the hardest weapon to find will now be the easiest weapon to make, All other halves are now deep drops and you only need one model to make it. Even I, with my lifelong quest to get the sword last year, got this in short order when I returned to Dares. So this is a possibility.

Weekly tip – Bungie has now made it clear that once per account, per week, if you complete the pinnacle quest with 250,000 points, you will receive a guaranteed red frame drop. The THINK it’s guaranteed to be one for a pattern you haven’t finished, but I have to confirm that. Regardless, you should do this every week. While it’s possible to achieve that score in a normal run, you’ll probably want to do it in Legend.

All gifts, all characters – You should max out on getting the paraversal transport pack, because they can get you up to three keys (and as such, three weapon drops) per box if you’re lucky. So that means making sure you do all the good for your characters every week. And if you have extra coins, buy … paraversal shipping boxes.

The legend of the farm – This is probably the only tip to help maximize your farming overall. While it’s annoying that legend doesn’t have a matchmaker, it’s definitely a lot easier than normal because you’re guaranteed have endless heavy ammo for two of the three sections because you’ll always know which one is going to be the boss. After that, higher scores mean you’ll see more frequent Lightning bonus rounds, which will get you three extra chests and more keys that way.

These are my top tips, but let me tell you, you can do everything right and it will still come down to RNG. After dozens and dozens of keys, gifts and weekly rewards, I’m still healthy zero Warrior models, although I’ve finished both swords and made progress with all the other weapons. This is creativity grind baby!
