Together for Bangladesh, a non-profit organisation, organized the ‘Carnival of Hope’, a charity event to raise funds for less fortunate street children on Sunday.
The event was held at the Celebrity Convention Centre, Satmasjid Road, Dhaka, a press release said.
Together for Bangladesh joined hands with Stand Up Dhaka and 11 music artists for the show. Rayhan Shuvro, Romel & Friends (LRB), Kaaktal and Aynus Moholla are some of the artists who performed at this event.
Together for Bangladesh founder and event team leader SM Nazmus Sakib said, “Carnival of Hope is more than just another concert or entertainment event. It is a collective effort of all of us present here to bring smiles and hope to those little children out there who need a little more help and support than others. As we know, it is hope that sustains life in the end.”
He also added that all the artists who performed at the event donated their reward to the street children; with the view that this will inspire the youth to come forward to support the greater good of Bangladesh and its people. More than 600 people attended the event.
“It was a difficult job to achieve. We usually organize events in academic institutions, but this was the first time outside. So we had to go through every last detail until the last minute. It was hectic, but really nice and healthy!” said Faiyaz Ahmed, one of the organizers of the event.
The seven-hour event ended on a happy note with the audience feeling exhausted but alive.
Together for Bangladesh is a non-profit organization founded by SM Nazmus Sakib. It was established in 2020. Their main objective is to prepare to support the underprivileged people all over Bangladesh.
The organization consists of a group of young people gathered for a cause. They have previously organized other social campaigns and programs such as post-Covid support relief measures and the Sylhet Flood Tragedy earlier this year.
