Truckers block roads in 17 Brazilian states in protest of Lula da Silva’s election

Truckers blocked highways in 17 states this Monday (October 31st) in demonstrations against the election of former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.

According to a survey by Poder360, as of 4:30 p.m. this Monday (October 31), there were 148 gridlock points on federal and state highways.

The last communication from the PRF (Federal Highway Police) at 16:15 this Monday mentioned 136 blocking points still active.

According to a survey conducted by Poder360 with state units of the PRF, there have been blockades or accumulations in the following states:

acre;
Bahia;
Holy Spirit;
Roraima
Rio Grande does. . .
